FPAS and Penguin Securities Sign MOU to Promote Financial Literacy in Singapore

Singapore, [02 July 2025] — The Financial Planning Association of Singapore (FPAS) and Penguin Securities today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to collaborate on initiatives that promote financial literacy in Singapore.

Through this partnership, both organisations aim to jointly organise educational seminars and workshops which provide investors — particularly Accredited Investors and family offices — with the foundational knowledge to better understand key areas of capital markets investments.

As a leading broker-dealer with deep expertise in capital market products and digital assets, Penguin Securities brings industry insight and practical experience to the collaboration. By sharing its institutional knowledge, the company seeks to bridge the gap between traditional and emerging digital asset investment landscapes and support investors in navigating a fast-evolving financial environment.

The collaboration contributes to Singapore’s financial ecosystem by enhancing financial literacy and raising awareness of topics including investment in securities, structured products, derivatives, and latest development in digital asset space.

Galen Woo, CEO of FPAS, shared the vision, stating, “We believe this partnership will not only strengthen financial literacy among Accredited Investors and family offices in Singapore, but also serve as a model for other FPSB territories. We hope this collaboration will further extend its reach and impact across the global community of high-net-worth individuals.”

“We are pleased to collaborate on this initiative that empowers Accredited Investors and family offices with the insights and frameworks needed to navigate an increasingly complex investment landscape,” said Kentaro Kawabe, CEO of Penguin Securities. “Through this collaboration, we aim to foster more confident, informed, and responsible investment decisions within Singapore’s high-net-worth investors community.”
